Are the braised short ribs always on the menu? We are coming at the end of the month, and that is what we would order. thanks!

Thank you for the affirmations! I'm assuming by your comments that they are always available?

How did you prepare the winter squash with toasted seeds? I know there were sunflower seeds, but what were those small round seeds? Want to prepare for Christmas! Thanks the meal was AWESOME

Should ask the restaurant directly, this is a community-based forum

Is there a lunch dress code

Nope!

Is there seating for small children?

Almost all tables are high tops or bar seating. But there are are couple high chairs available too.

Eating here before game on Sunday!!!! Best place for my family to watch game after?

Back at the hotel

There is meter parking on the street

There was this grape soda i was reccomended when i asked if they have any dr pepper and he said it tasted like dr pepper what was that called?

So so so so so so so so good. So good. We had the fried chicken family meal with butter beans, brussel sprouts, and Mac and cheese. It came with rice and cornbread, as well. We ordered chicken tenders for the little kids with regular french fries and sweet potato fries. Oddly, the chicken tenders tasted significantly different than the fried chicken on the bone. Next time, I would skip the chicken tenders, altogether, and go hard for just fried on the bone. But lemme tell you... DELICIOUS!!!!!! The butter beans are phenomenal, and I don't even like Lima beans!!! We came here in the time of COVID, and we were extremely pleased to see that they did not miss a beat with the order. We ordered online, and it was a to-go order. It was ready when they said it would be, everything was included, including utensils, ketchup, hot sauce, and napkins. Service was great. I have been thinking about this chicken daily since I last had it.

The chick was crispy and delicious. The prices aren’t exactly cheap, but that’s what happens on TV. The hit was the butter beans. On of the best sides I’ve ever had. Worth the trip. Very delicious. The history is interesting and the service was good. A better to the then the Cafe du Monde by far. If you want the best food in NOLA go to GW Finns.

Pretty good fried chicken, the guy who was working here was very hospitable. He was so friendly & helpful. Wish we weren't in a Covid shutdown because I would've enjoyed trying the food fresh out of the kitchen.

On our first night in town we stopped by to cater to our belly's. The food was amazing! Red beans & rice was yum! Very flavorful, seasoned well, and the yams...OMG!!! Get the yams!!! We will definitely be coming back for more!

After eating here, this is now one of my top three fried chicken places. The crispness was right, the chicken was moist, and seasoned to the point. Because of COVID-19, we sat outside but the temperature was nice enough we didn’t mind. While we are glad we had excellent chicken, the best thing from our visit was our server Ro. He definitely made us feel welcomed and like we were home. We will be visiting on our next time down in the area.

So sooo good! Best breading I've ever had, and best Mac and cheese I've ever had. I immediately took a five hour nap after eating this, only to wake up and eat it for two more meals. It's so juicy and flavorful!

My son decided to surprise me with delivery from Willie Mae's. I was happy until I tried the chicken. It was extremely salty. We also had beans and sweet potatoes with corn bread. 50 bucks. The side items were great. I wish I could try again but for 50 bucks I can't afford it.

Delicious and uniquely fried chicken. The breading has an airiness to it that reminds one of tempura. The candied yams are worthy of being dessert.

Arguably the best fried chicken I've had. I'm still trying to figure out how they got the skin to be so crispy and flaky. I wasn't crazy about the Mac n cheese, but the red beans were delicious. Definitely a must try.
